After firing numerous members of the DoD’s top brass, Obama has now appointed his new commander of “US forces in Iraq and Syria” to push the Muslim Brotherhood’s war (objectives) in Syria. And true to form this new commander, Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend, refers to ISIS as “ISIL,” exactly as Obama does. That’s really no surprise.
It is a fact that the Muslim Brotherhood started the war in Syria—taking full and opportunistic advantage of the spontaneous “Arab Spring” uprising in Tunesia. After the uprising in Tunesia the Muslim Brotherhood immediately started the CIA’s covert operations in Libya to take down President Gaddafi. And Lt. Gen. Townsend does not speak of the Arabs that Obama and Hillary Clinton have armed and trained as Islamic terrorists, which until recently included ISIS.
NOTE: Obama did nothing to stop ISIS from invading Iraq from the Syrian border and taking the weapons he had left behind in Mosul. It was in fact only after ISIS later declared themselves to be a new caliphate, Islamic State (IS), that Obama started to slowly reject their participation in the war against Assad. The Muslim Brotherhood’s intent is for the new caliphate to be headquartered in Istanbul, not in the city of Raqqa in Syria. Even then Obama did nothing to hinder IS from rapidly taking more of Iraq.
To make matters much worse, the Muslim Brotherhood’s new commander of the forces in Iraq and Syria has now threatened Russia. “We’ve informed the Russians where we’re at … (they) tell us they’ve informed the Syrians, and I’d just say that we will defend ourselves if we feel threatened,” Lt. Gen. Townsend told CNN on the telephone Saturday from his Baghdad headquarters.
Also, take note of Townsend’s forecast regarding “ISIL” as compared to Donald Trump’s forecast regarding ISIS. Trump has stated clearly that if he is elected that ISIS will be “eliminated very quickly,” whereas Townsend has told CNN that he hopes “ISIL” will be defeated next year. “Do I think ISIL will be gone from Iraq and Syria?” he asked, using another acronym for ISIS. “No, but I want them out of the cities.” He told CNN that he believes “ISIL” leaders are in and around the city of Raqqa in Syria, the proclaimed capital of its caliphate. Townsend said local Arab and Kurdish fighters, trained by the US, could start moving into areas outside Raqqa in coming weeks.
Meanwhile Townsend sits in Baghdad.
For those of you who do not know, President Assad has always been the Muslim Brotherhood’s staunch enemy. Assad’s father many years ago put down a Muslim Brotherhood terrorist offensive in Syria. President Assad is a nationalist opposed to the Muslim Brotherhood’s plans for a new caliphate. An Islamic caliphate does not tolerate nationalist states — only one global Islamic state. This is also why Obama and Hillary Clinton took down President Gaddafi in Libya: He was also a nationalist. It was also why they put the Muslim Brotherhood in power in Egypt. Fortunately, the Egyptian people quickly rejected the Muslim Brotherhood’s objectives.
President Erdogan, a close friend of Obama, is the leading candidate for a new caliph and caliphate to be headquartered in Istanbul, where it was headquartered during the Ottoman Empire (caliphate) and this is why he has facilitated terrorists entering into Syria from the Turkish border. It is also why Hillary Clinton was asked if she and Obama had shipped arms from Libya to Turkey and then into Syria.
